Are You Chasing After God?

When Jesus and His disciples sought rest, people noticed (Mark 6:33-34).

They saw where they were going. They anticipated where they would arrive. They ran ahead to meet them.

But it wasn’t just Jesus they were recognizing anymore—it was His disciples too.

This speaks volumes.

When we walk in our calling, when we do the work God has placed before us, people will notice.

They may not fully understand what they’re drawn to. They may not be able to explain it. But they will hunger for more.

This Is Happening Right Now

I see it unfolding before my very eyes. New clients and opportunities are showing up. People are seeking me out for prayer, wisdom, and guidance. Doors are opening—not because I chase them, but because I seek God first.

And I must stay fixed on this mission.

Jesus Responded with Compassion

When He saw the crowd chasing after Him, His response was simple:

– No judgment.

– No conditions.

– No “Get yourselves ready first.”

Just compassion.

“He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd.”

The people weren’t following rules, traditions, or religious structures. They were following a presence. They were following Jesus. They were hungry for something real.

God Wants Hunger, Not Perfection God isn’t waiting for me to have it all figured out.

– He’s not looking for performance.

– He’s not asking for perfection.

– He’s simply looking for pursuit.

We may never be able to bring Him something “good enough.” But He DELIGHTS in our pursuit. Like a father watching his child grow, He finds joy in the process.

The Real Question Is…

Are we as hungry as these people were?

– Do we chase after God when we see Him moving?

– Do we run after His presence when we sense Him stepping into our world?

Because right now—and always—He is.
