Standing Firm in Strength and Authority

What’s striking about the demons Jesus confronted is that they didn’t question His power. They only questioned what He would do with it.

That’s the challenge for me today. I know the power of God is real—yet how often do I rely on my own strength instead?

When life presses in, do I draw from His power or from my own limited reserves?

When fear creeps in, do I stand firm or negotiate with doubt?

When challenges arise, do I confront them head-on or avoid the fight?

Jesus did not negotiate with darkness—He commanded it.

Darkness Should Not Be Debated—It Should Be Dealt With

Too often, we tolerate things we should eliminate.

•   Doubt lingers because we entertain it.

•   Fear grows because we negotiate with it.

•   The lies of the enemy take root because we don’t shut them down.

But here’s the truth: Authority is not found in compromise. It is found in conviction. The moment we submit fully to God’s power, the enemy loses his grip.

God’s Plan for Freedom is Never Predictable—But It’s Always Perfect

The way Jesus freed this man didn’t make sense—He cast out demons into a herd of 2,000 pigs. It wasn’t logical, but it was effective.

God will do whatever it takes to bring a man into freedom.

Your journey—like mine—will not look like anyone else’s. The way God moves in your life may not make sense to you or to others. But it will always be intentional.

Today, I am choosing:

Strength over seeking comfort.

Power over self-reliance.

Conviction over compromise.

Because Jesus didn’t step away from the battle—He stepped into it. And so will I.
